Sh. Pitamber Dutt

Born on 23 January 1970, he completed his B.A. (Hons.) in Political Science from the University of Delhi and obtained his LL.B. from Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi, in 1996. He practised as an Advocate before the Delhi District Courts and the Hon’ble High Court of Delhi.

In 2008, he was inducted into the Delhi Higher Judicial Service and thereafter presided over courts exercising diverse jurisdictions in various District Courts. During his judicial career, he served in several important capacities, including Additional District & Sessions Judge, Special Judge (CBI), Principal Judge, Family Courts (HQs), District Judge (Commercial Court), Presiding Officer, Appellate Tribunal, MCD, and Principal District & Sessions Judge, Patiala House Courts, New Delhi.

He joined as *Principal District & Sessions Judge, West District, Delhi, on 05 October 2026* and is presently posted in the said capacity.
